UPDATE The investigation into the shooting/homicide is still active and ongoing. Other persons were present within the home at the time of the shooting. Investigators are considering an attempted murder-suicide scenario however, several investigative processes are being undertaken at this time in order to confirm preliminary evidence. Operation Strike Heat nets 60 Arrests

Operation Strike Heat nets 60 arrests for Weapons, Drugs, and Driving Charges. The operation concentrated on crime offenses of narcotics (trafficking and sales), firearms, burglaries, robberies, and gang activity. It took place in the north end of Palm Beach County last weekend, April 12th & 13th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Frontier Elementary Students honor Deputies

Yesterday, on 9/11, the Safety Patrol students at Frontier Elementary School, in Loxahatchee honored their local PBSO and PBCFR on Patriot Day. The students collected different items  and put together a gift basket along with homemade cards thanking the deputies for their service. Members from PBSO  District 15 as well as their School Resource Deputy visited with the students and were presented with their gifts.      

BUSTED Slaughterhouse in Loxahatchee

On August 2, 2018, The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office raided a Loxahatchee Groves Farm accused of operating an illegal slaughterhouse. Over the course of a six month period, this farm was investigated for illegal slaughtering and animal cruelty. The Illegal activity was discovered by the ARM (Animal Recovery Mission) who notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
