On March 30, 2026, an investigation began into a serial “porch pirate” suspect responsible for multiple thefts throughout Palm Beach County. Through investigative means, the suspect was identified as Tamika McGlashan, who was traveling to various residences and committing thefts from dwellings by removing delivered packages. On February 22, 2026, deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of Woolbright Road and El Clair Ranch Road. Following a thorough investigation, including a review of video evidence and witness interviews, it was determined that the suspect intentionally and violently struck another vehicle in a staged crash.

Busted for Targeting Victims with Immigration Related Vulnerabilities
On March 20, 2026, an investigation was initiated into an alleged scheme to defraud targeting individuals with immigration-related vulnerabilities. The investigation revealed that Mitzy Mariel Farfan falsely represented herself as an immigration attorney and/or a court-affiliated individual in order to obtain money from victims.

Death of a Female on Lyons Road – October 28, 2024
Deputies were dispatched to the 6100 block of Lyons Road, for a welfare check, after reports of an unresponsive female found outside of a vehicle on the southbound shoulder.
