Suspect Arrested for Kidnapping, Sexual Battery and Indecent Exposure

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any additional victims who may have had contact with the individual depicted in the attached photograph, identified as Verwayne Alexander. He is known to operate a gray 2019 Chevrolet Trax. Alexander has been arrested and charged with kidnapping and sexual battery. Detectives are actively continuing their investigation to determine whether additional individuals may have encountered him under similar circumstances.

Serial Porch Pirate Busted

On March 30, 2026, an investigation began into a serial “porch pirate” suspect responsible for multiple thefts throughout Palm Beach County. Through investigative means, the suspect was identified as Tamika McGlashan, who was traveling to various residences and committing thefts from dwellings by removing delivered packages. Death of a Female on Lyons Road – October 28, 2024

Deputies were dispatched to the 6100 block of Lyons Road, for a welfare check, after reports of an unresponsive female found outside of a vehicle on the southbound shoulder.
