Welcome to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 12- City of Pahokee website. I am Lieutenant Brad Seider and I am honored to serve the citizens of Pahokee. I am a native of the Glades, born in Pahokee and raised in Belle Glade. My family has deep ties to this area which I feel give me a unique perspective and a true insight into the concerns of the residents, as well as the community as a whole.

My career began with the Belle Glade Police Department where I transitioned over to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in 2005. Throughout the course of my 20 plus year career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, I have served in various roles. I worked as a road patrol deputy in District 12-Pahokee and District 13-Belle Glade. Afterwards, I worked as a property crimes detective and agricultural crimes detective in the Glades until 2017, where I promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

During my time as a Sergeant, I worked road patrol in the Glades, worked as a supervisor in the Financial Crimes Unit, Internal Affairs and again returned to the Glades as a supervisor of the District Detective Bureau until I was promoted to Lieutenant.

As a promoted Lieutenant, I was responsible for supervising the Glades Region of Palm Beach County as a midnight Watch Commander, until returning to the Glades again in my current position.

Beyond my law enforcement experience, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University.
