Detectives Investigate Murder/Suicide at Harbor Chase Assisted Living * January 6, 2025

On Monday, January 6, 2024, at approximately 8:34 AM, deputies responded to the Harbor Chase Assisted Living in reference to a female and male who were found deceased. Detectives are investigating this incident as a murder/suicide.

On October 11, 2024, at 7:47 pm, deputies responded to JFK Medical Center after a victim was found in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the femoral artery and was listed in critical condition. Suspect Wanted for Sexual Battery of a 13-year old Female

Update – Early Morning Shooting/Homicide in City of Lake Worth Beach

PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 600 block of Lake Ave, City of Lake Worth Beach. Upon arrival, they discovered four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, one is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition and two males were pronounced deceased on scene. Suspect WANTED for Theft at Family Dollar in Lake Worth Beach

Suspect wanted for stealing several items from a local Family Dollar Store in the City of Lake Worth Beach. The suspect is described as a male with thinning dark hair and an unshaven appearance. He was last seen wearing a sleeveless gray/tan shirt featuring the word “WEEDOM” and an eagle graphic, along with brown cargo shorts and brown slides. Two PBSO Motor Deputies Tragically Killed

Vanessa, Our Beloved 18 Year Old Holsteiner Mare Passes Away

The Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit is heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Vanessa, our beloved 18-year-old Holsteiner mare. Vanessa fell ill during her assignment at St. Mary’s Medical Center and sadly succumbed to her medical condition. Known for her athleticism and confidence, she was a cherished member of our team and will be deeply missed.
