Military Marker Located on Lake Worth Beach

On Thursday, July 31, 2025, at approximately 5:56 p.m., a beachgoer discovered what appeared to be a military ordinance marker on Lake Worth Beach. The individual picked up the item and brought it to a nearby lifeguard, who immediately notified the PBSO. Upon arrival, deputies evacuated the beach and closed surrounding roadways including the upper parking lot as a precaution. Seeking to Identify a “Person of Interest” in Attempted Burglary(s) in the City of Lake Worth Beach

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in identifying a female suspect wanted for Attempted Burglary. An unknown female attempted to enter multiple apartments located in the 400 block of South Ocean Breeze, Lake Worth Beach. Suspect Busted for Burglary to Storage Unit

On June 8, 2025, a victim reported that his storage unit account had been mysteriously closed and that thousands of dollars’ worth of property had been stolen. A thorough investigation revealed that a business employee had fraudulently altered the victim’s account settings to prevent notifications and changed his access code. The employee then alerted an accomplice, who unlawfully entered the storage unit and stole property valued at over $90,000.
