Suspicious Person – WPB

Update: Detectives arrested the female suspect, Sheree Williams, DOB: 1/19/1989, for Homicide. Williams will be attending first appearance this morning.  At 9:14 AM, on March 26th, deputies responded to a suspicious person complaint of a naked female climbing a tree in the area of Magnolia Drive, unincorporated West Palm Beach.  Upon arrival deputies were advised the female was running through the neighborhood.  A perimeter was immediately established and the female was located and detained. Shooting incident in Lake Worth

On March 21, 2023, our deputies responded to a shooting at 777 Liquors located in the 3600 block of Military Trail, unincorporated Lake Worth. Tragically, an adult male was found deceased from gunshot wounds. Detectives from our Violent Crimes Division are actively investigating the scene, but no suspect or motive has been identified yet. Seat Belt & Child Safety

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a countywide Seat Belt & Child Safety Restraint Enforcement on Sunday, March 19, 2023. The purpose of this operation is to conduct high-visibility, zero-tolerance enforcement of all Florida State Statutes regarding seat belt usage and child safety restraints. The locations of the enforcement will be in the unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County. The hours of operation will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Rachel Hurley – 33rd Anniversary Homicide

Incident in South Bay

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident that occurred in the area of US Highway 27, South Bay. Deputies patrolling the area heard what appeared to be gunshots and located a vehicle fleeing the scene. Upon conducting a traffic stop, three individuals were found inside the vehicle, all suffering from injuries. On March 9th, 2023, just before 3:00 pm, we responded to a collision involving a Brightline train and a vehicle at Washington Ave and S. Dixie Highway.
