Incident in South Bay
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident that occurred in the area of US Highway 27, South Bay. Deputies patrolling the area heard what appeared to be gunshots and located a vehicle fleeing the scene. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a homicide that occurred on February 19, 2021, at approximately 1:40pm on interstate 95 in Palm Beach Gardens. Christopher Maasen died at the scene. Detectives are seeking people that may have witnessed or taken video/pictures of the altercation that occurred in the Northbound Lanes of I95 near Donald Ross Road. V-2 was traveling westbound on Indiantown Road. V-1 was northbound on 125th Ave. V-2 had a flashing yellow light and V-1 had a flashing red light and stop sign.
