Shooting on Jasmine Drive
Update Detectives identified the suspect as Joshua McElhenney, DOB: 9/21/78. The suspect was located in Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade Homicide/SWAT assisted PBSO detectives with executing a search warrant in a hotel room where the suspect was arrested for First Degree Murder with a firearm, without incident. McElhenney is currently residing in Miami-Dade jail awaiting extradition back to Palm Beach County. Arrest made on Homicide
Christopher Soto has been identified as the suspect in the homicide of the Hispanic woman who was found floating in a canal, in Delray Beach. Soto was located, arrested and booked into PBC Jail for First Degree Murder, Destruction of Evidence and Providing a False Statement. We are keeping the victim’s family in our thoughts and prayers.
Sexual Battery Arrest
Our detectives worked tirelessly to identify and apprehend the suspect responsible for a heinous crime against an innocent victim. We arrested Darrell Moreland Jr. for Sexual Battery with a deadly weapon, Kidnapping and Robbery with a deadly weapon.
