Mother Arrested for Stabbing

Last night, we responded to a stabbing at Palms West Hospital. Kendra Greene, the suspect, entered the NICU unit and removed her three-day-old infant from the ventilator. In her attempt to leave with the baby, hospital staff members intervened, so she took out a knife resulting in injuries to three staff members. Zero Tolerance for Hate

We arrested suspect, Daniel Scanlan, who hit a man from behind, removed his black yarmulke (Orthodox Jewish skullcap), and called him a "Dirty Jew Kike". A woman attempted to intervene and the suspect snatched her cell phone, insulted her, and threw her to the ground causing a minor laceration to her right elbow. 6:24 am       Male (just learned it was the suspect who called) calls 911 and advises there is a suspicious person holding two knives in front of Firehouse Sub’s located in the 9900 block of S. Countywide Seat Belt & Child Safety Restraint Enforcement on Sunday, April 30, 2023

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a countywide Seat Belt & Child Safety Restraint Enforcement on Sunday, April 30, 2023. The purpose of this operation is to conduct high-visibility, zero-tolerance enforcement of all Florida State Statutes regarding seat belt usage and child safety restraints. The locations of the enforcement will be in the unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County. The hours of operation will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
