Terri Philhower is still missing. She may be in Martin or St. Lucie County and was last seen in Jupiter. Teri is a minor and we need to bring her home safely. Teri is a minor and minors cannot decide to live or stay somewhere else without their parents’ or guardian’s consent.
Sheltering or providing aid to a runaway minor is a CRIME and you can be charged with a first-degree misdemeanor or even a felony for Interference with Custody.
By doing this, you make it harder for us to locate the child, harder for the parents or guardian who are responsible for the child, and you put yourself in legal jeopardy. Minor children cannot decide to live or stay somewhere else without their parents’ or guardian’s consent.
