PBSO Reads to Children to Commemorate Dr. Seuss

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, District 14 was invited to read to the VPK class at Highland Elementary. Deputy Richard Toranzo read to the children the book “Green Eggs and Ham.” A total of 15 children attended the reading session. Canadian Dentist Arrested for Indecent Exposure on School Property

Detectives of the City of Lake Worth conducted an investigation on an individual who was exposing himself and performing other vulgar acts in front of high school aged females. Arrest warrants were obtained and the individual was apprehended in Miami by PBSO Detectives and the surrounding agency. The individual will be extradited back to Palm Beach County for prosecution. Girl Scouts Crime Prevention and Fire Safety Tips Teaching Day

Deputies and PBC Fire Rescue Personnel spent the day teaching Girl Scouts Crime Prevention and Fire Safety tips. This is done yearly before cookie sales begin. They were able to meet Piper, a member of PBSO K-9, sit in a patrol vehicle and on the Sheriff's Office ATV. They also witness the sirens go off, the fire hose spray water and the Jaws of Life demonstration.
