PBSO Marine Units Intercept Immigrant Vessel after being rammed by the boat Captain. Shortly after 9:00 am, PBSO Marine Unit deputy intercepted a vessel east of the Jupiter Inlet. Upon making contact with the Captain on board, the Captain rammed the PBSO Marine Unit Vessel damaging two engines. PBSO Helicopter and additional marine unit vessels pursued the suspect vessel. PBSO Marine and Aviation Units Rescue Missing Divers
PBSO Aviation Unit works together with Marine Unit to find and rescue missing divers. Shortly after 10:00 am this morning, seven divers separated from a commercial dive boat out of Jupiter. Two divers were immediately located and transported to the local marina. The other five divers were found a few miles away by PBSO Aviation pilot. The pilot led the Marine Unit deputies to the five outstanding divers. Just before 2 am this morning, deputies from the Marine Unit were dispatched to a “man overboard” call 5 miles east of the Boynton Beach Inlet. Once they arrived and spoke with the complainant deputies learned a male occupant either jumped or fell from the vessel. PBSO Eagle helicopter was requested.
