We worked hard this weekend to clean up our streets from crime. “OPERATION HEAT ON THE STREETS” 9/16-16 – 9/17/16 Deputies participated in “Operation Heat on the Streets” due to a rash of crimes; burglaries, robberies, etc., occurring within several high crime areas in the north end of the county. Never Forget Organization Presents Award to PBSO

On 9/11/16, members of the “Never Forget” organization visited deputies at the Greenacres District to pay tribute to Law Enforcement in remembrance of 911. The family presented a framed award to PBSO in honor of their service to the community. The founder of this organization, Sam Veguilla, was celebrating his birthday yesterday. He said, there could be no greater birthday gift than to pay tribute to the heroes of our country that we will Never Forget.

Child Struck In First Weeks Of School

An 8 Year Old was struck by a driver this morning because they did not obey the crossing guard. 2nd week of school and driver Fails to Obey a School Crossing Guard and strikes an eight year old student in front of Barton Elementary School. PBSO Legoland field trip,Breaking the Cycle of Gang Recruitment

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office took a group of students from South Grade Elementary School to LEGOLAND Florida Resort for the day. This was the conclusion of a school program where the deputies helped out  the students in their efforts to build Lego cars at school. It is hoped that when the children get older,  there will be positive results from the involvement of law enforcement in their lives.
