Update – Detectives Investigate at Double Homicide on Canal Street, Belle Glade

Shortly before 10:00 pm, last evening, deputies responded to a shooting at 27 Canal Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate this double shooting/double homicide further. No suspect or motive is known at this time. Shooting/Homicide that occurred in Unincorporated Lake Worth

After further investigation, three suspects were identified and arrested on charges of first-degree murder. Suspects Spencer Privert and Wilmer Barahona are currently detained at Palm Beach County Jail. The third suspect, Anthony Jennings, was apprehended in Hillsborough County and is being held there on local charges. Palm Beach County has placed a hold on Jennings; once his local charges are resolved, he will be transferred to Palm Beach County to face the first-degree murder charges.

Unknown Suspects Wanted for Bank Jugging and Distraction Burglary

Unknown Suspects WANTED for Bank Jugging and Distraction Burglary.   These unknown suspects, distracted the victim, stole her credit card(s) then were captured attempting to purchase a Rolex watch for $ 18,000 at the Wellington Green Mall.  Fortunately, a credit card authorization was sent to the victim’s phone to alert her, as she was unaware that her cards were stolen.  This incident occurred on September 24, 2024 at 12:30 pm. 

Suspect Arrested for Homicide of a person known to him

Deputies responded to a stabbing in the 6100 block of Oak Royal Drive, in unincorporated Lake Worth. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male within the residence. The investigation determined that Moslet Elmeus, stabbed the adult male, a person known to him.  Deputies located the suspect nearby. He was arrested and booked into the PBC Jail the charges listed below.

Suspect Wanted for Distraction Theft while inside local Family Dollar Store, Lake Worth Beach

Suspect wanted for theft by distraction. An unknown female stole a plastic bag containing cash from a customer while they were both inside the Family Dollar store.    This incident occurred on September 16, 2024.  Family Dollar is located in the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway, Lake Worth Beach.
