Missing Person – Melissa Lois Stoffle

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate a missing person. Melissa was reported missing on February 25th and last seen on January 26th at midnight near the downtown West Palm Beach area. Her clothing description, direction and mode of travel are unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Jarrod Foster at FosterJ@pbso.org

Fatal Accident – Indiantown Rd. Jupiter 03/01/23

V-2 was traveling westbound on Indiantown Road. V-1 was northbound on 125th Ave. V-2 had a flashing yellow light and V-1 had a flashing red light and stop sign. V-1 initiated its northbound travel and crossed the eastbound lanes. V-1 did not observe V-2 and pulled across into the westbound lanes causing the collision. V-1 collided with V-2 front passenger fender to front driver side fender. D-2 and P-2 were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, P-2 was pronounced dead...

ATV Statute

Each year, we respond to various ATV-related incidents, some fatal. We understand that seeing us on ATVs might create confusion. However, the FSS 316.2074 states that "an ATV may be used by law enforcement officers on public roads while in the course & scope of their duties."
