PBSO Busts Suspect for Attempted First Degree Murder

Who remembers the shooting back in May, in unincorporated West Palm Beach (4600 block of Gardenette Road)? Apparently, this was a fight that got out of control. The victim ended up being transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. After further investigation, we were able to locate the suspect, Kenneth A. Murph, and arrested him today for Attempted First Degree Murder (Firearm) and Armed Robbery (Firearm). Keep them coming, team!

Operation Cops with Comics

Ben Savedow came to donate hundreds of comic books to our Deputies so that they could give it out to children that they encounter on the road. He wanted a way to connect Law Enforcement Officers with the youth of Palm Beach County. Ben hand selected all the comics and removed all the comics that used weapons or guns. PBSO Arrest Man Playing Cops

Although we are honored to be an example to follow, this crossed the line. On Sunday, we spotted a suspicious black & white (police style) vehicle driving near Lake Avenue and North Dixie Highway. PBSO Bust Drug Dealer from Lake Worth

Agents BUST Sammie Wells Jr. and SEIZE Heroin, Marijuana and Ammunition After an ongoing investigation, agents from PBSO’s Narcotics Division served a search warrant at a home located in the 1200 block of 14th Street, Lake Worth. What they found was: 31-year old Sammie Wells Jr., a known drug offender. Numerous drugs and ammunition were seized and Sammie Wells Jr. was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail on ten drug-related charges.

At 10:30 am, Sunday, July 23, 2017, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 4600 block of Myla Lane, West Palm Beach. Before their arrival, PBSO dispatch received a 911 call from a nearby Subway restaurant regarding a shooting victim appearing in the restaurant. PBC Fire Rescue arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives learned that the victim died in surgery a short time later. BUSTED for stealing some white Kicks. Zeandre Kirlew will now be wearing crocks in our Jail. The victim placed an ad on the cell phone app “OfferUp” selling a pair of white Nike sneakers.
