PBSO Reads to Children to Commemorate Dr. Seuss

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, District 14 was invited to read to the VPK class at Highland Elementary. Deputy Richard Toranzo read to the children the book “Green Eggs and Ham.” A total of 15 children attended the reading session. After reading, each student was provided an After School Safety coloring book, a mood color changing pencil, and a Junior Deputy Badge. Deputy Toranzo swore-in each child. Deputies responded to a vandalism call in the 7000 block of San Salvador Drive, Boca Raton, on Sunday, February 13, 2017 at 8:00 am. A 69-Year-Old Vietnam War Veteran was Attacked at a Lake Park Auto Parts Store

Two black males started an altercation with a Hispanic male victim. The victim, 69 years of age, was followed into a business and was subsequently pushed and punched causing him to fall to the ground.
