A 69-Year-Old Vietnam War Veteran was Attacked at a Lake Park Auto Parts Store
Two black males started an altercation with a Hispanic male victim. The victim, 69 years of age, was followed into a business and was subsequently pushed and punched causing him to fall to the ground. While on the ground the suspects struck the victim with a truck lug wrench. The suspect’s then fled in a white Ford F250 dual cab truck with a partial Florida tag _DM_75.
The victim, a veteran of the Vietnam War, suffers from PTSD. He had a 6 month old Pekingese dog with him named “Louise”. Louise is his companion dog. During the altercation Louise got away and has not been located.
Animal Care & Control has been contacted regarding the missing Pekingese, Louise.
This incident occurred on February 20, 2017, at approximately 9:47 a.m. The altercation took place at Advanced Auto Parts, located in the 700 block of 10th Street in Lake Park.
