We were able to identify children in Greenacres who were truly in need of a bicycle. These are kids who either walk to and from school or who displayed outstanding behavior in their community and schools. With the help of 'Cops Helping Kids' and Walmart, we were able to pre-order the bikes and surprise 15 children by delivering the bikes to each of their house. PBSO is seeking the public’s assistance in a “Hit and Run” traffic crash investigation. The crash occurred last night at 9045 S. Jog Rd. at approximately 9:55 pm in front of the library.  An elderly male was struck and killed while standing next to his driver’s side door after he stopped for an unknown reason. Seeking the Public’s Assistance with Locating a Missing & Possibly Endangered Adult

Media Advisory
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Marie Hutchinson.  Marie, DOB: 11/23/72, was last seen in Delray Beach on August 1, 2018.  She has not been seen or heard from since.
Marie has a limited mental capacity and suffers from medical conditions where she is dependent medications.  Marie does not have her medication with her.  PBSO considers her to be a missing and possibly endangered adult.

BUSTED Slaughterhouse in Loxahatchee

On August 2, 2018, The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office raided a Loxahatchee Groves Farm accused of operating an illegal slaughterhouse. Over the course of a six month period, this farm was investigated for illegal slaughtering and animal cruelty. The Illegal activity was discovered by the ARM (Animal Recovery Mission) who notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. A masked suspect entered Family Dollar, jumped the counter and demanded cash from the clerk then fled on foot from the business.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’11”, thin build, wearing a green or gray long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Suspect wanted for burglary to a residence.
An unknown male forcibly entered the victim residence. While inside, captured on surveillance video, he helped himself to the victim’s property.
The suspect appears to be a white male, with short cropped hair, mustache and beard.  He has a tattoo on his right leg.
