In 1974, the skeleton remains of a teen were discovered on Singer Island, in North Palm Beach. Almost immediately, she was known as the Singer Island Jane Doe. Fifty years later, the remains were identified as missing teen Susan Poole, possibly linked to a Florida Serial Killer.

THE LEAD is a podcast produced by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office featuring unsolved or cold cases. In this series we delve into the sad, sometimes brutal details as we speak with the dedicated people who are most familiar with them.
