Detectives arrested two suspects for a Homicide that occurred in Belle Glade, September 21, 2021.

The time of the shooting was 7:15 pm. Detectives have confirmed that it was a drive by shooting.

Shortly before 8:00 pm, deputies responded to a triple shooting in the 100 block of NW 9th Street, Belle Glade. Both victims; one male and one female, were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies responded to multiple people fighting in the parking lot in the 1700 block of South Main Street, Belle Glade. As deputies were breaking up the fight the arrestee, Louis Garcia, pulled out a weapon and fired into the crowd striking two victims.
Cold Weather Shelter
It’s cold (at least for us). Due to the lower temps, the county is opening a Cold Weather Shelter in Belle Glade. The shelter will be open at 7:00 pm today, February 3, and will close at 7:00 am tomorrow Feb. 4 at Belle Glade Intake Assessment Center: 341 NW 11th St., Belle Glade.
