PBSO Reads to Children to Commemorate Dr. Seuss

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, District 14 was invited to read to the VPK class at Highland Elementary.
Deputy Richard Toranzo read to the children the book “Green Eggs and Ham.”
A total of 15 children attended the reading session.
After reading, each student was provided an After School Safety coloring book, a mood color changing pencil, and a Junior Deputy Badge.
Deputy Toranzo swore-in each child.
This small gesture goes a long way with the Spanish speaking community.

Suspect wanted for Theft.

An unknown male entered the store, filled a shopping cart full of merchandise and left in a Ford Escort.
The suspect was identified as a white male, wearing a white pinstripe long sleeve polo, dark color tie, black pants, gold color buckle and black shoes.
This incident occurred on March 4, 2017 at 2:54 pm. Toys“R”Us is located in the 400 block of State Road 7, Wellington.

Canadian Dentist Exposing Himself

Canadian Dentist Arrested for Indecent Exposure on School Property

Detectives of the City of Lake Worth conducted an investigation on an individual who was exposing himself and performing other vulgar acts in front of high school aged females. Arrest warrants were obtained and the individual was apprehended in Miami by PBSO Detectives and the surrounding agency. The individual will be extradited back to Palm Beach County for prosecution.

PBSO is Investigating a Hate Crime

Deputies responded to a vandalism call in the 7000 block of San Salvador Drive, Boca Raton, on Sunday, February 13, 2017 at 8:00 am.

Upon arrival the deputy learned that her son’s 2001 Ford black mustang had been parked on the east side of the residence for the past couple of months.
Sometime between February 11, 2017 at 7:00 pm and February 12, at 8:00 am, an unknown person spray painted a white Swastika symbol on the driver side door.

PBSO is Looking for 2 Armed Man Involved in Home Robbery

Looking for two armed men that invaded a home and robbed a victim at gunpoint.
Suspects wanted for Armed Home Invasion.
Two armed males, one wearing a mask, followed the victim home and robbed him at gun point outside his residence.
Suspect 2, entered the residence and demanded property from the victim inside. Both suspects fled in a gray 2010 to 2013, 4 door Honda Accord.

PBSO is seeking your help to identify a female associated with a fight that took place on Sunday.
The female can been seen in the middle of these two other women in this picture.
Deputies responded to a fight that occurred outside, in-between Downtown Pizza and CJ’s Island Grill, early Sunday morning.
Deputies learned that an altercation took place between two females.
The fight was broken up by other patrons before deputies arrived.
One female stayed on scene and the other fled.

Man Caught Stealing Car in Lake Worth on Surveillance Video

This guy was captured on surveillance video as he entered Food Mart in the City of Lake Worth.
He walked out of the store then entered an unattended, idling 2013 Toyota Corolla and bounced.
This incident occurred on February 20, 2017.
Food Mart is located in the 100 block of Federal Highway, Lake Worth.

PBSO Murder/Suicide Investigation

Detectives are investigating what appears to be a Murder/Suicide.
PBSO dispatch received a call from a male uttering to please send HELP to a residence in the 6200 block of Adriatic Way, Greenacres, then hung up.
When deputies arrived, they found a female deceased in the home alone.
A short time later, Riviera Beach Police Department advised that they were investigating a male who jumped to his death from the Blue Heron bridge into the water located near Phil Foster Park.

Body found in field by US Sugar workers

Body found in field by US Sugar workers.
US Sugar workers working in the fields came across what they believed to be a deceased male body. Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed their findings. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate further.
At this time it is unknown how long the deceased male laid or was placed there. No suspect information or motive known at this time.
