Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has an important message. There has been an increase in Phone Scams where scammers call you and demand money. These types of scams are usually targeting our elderly citizens. Swimming is fun, but we have to do it safely. We recently had a children’s book launch of, "Gaspar's Big Day." An illustrated children's book that talks about safety tips when going out to swim. We had a Conversation With a Deputy event at Bridges at Highland Elementary School. Students and volunteers from the Pre-Kindergarten Education Program stopped by to meet their local deputies and ask lots of questions. We had a blast!Active Shooter Situations
In light of the tragic event that took place this week in Ventura County, PBSO would like to remind everyone what we can do during an Active Shooter situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, victims and everyone else affected with the recent shooting, especially the officer from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office who was killed in the line of duty protecting his community from this senseless act. National Night Out Against Crime
