PBSO was involved in a Deputy Involved Shooting that occurred on Evergreen Drive and 9th Street, Lake Park. PBSO TAC Units had probable cause to affect an arrest on a felony suspect that was seen driving, in a red vehicle, in the area of Evergreen Drive and 9th Street, Lake Park.  At approximately 4:00 pm units attempted to affect a traffic stop on a vehicle when the suspect exited the vehicle immediately firing at deputies as he was attempting to flee. ...

Media Advisory   Time:           4:30 am Location:     2300 block of Lena Lane   Deputies responded to shots fired in the 2300 block of Lena Lane.  Upon arrival deputies located a vehicle crashed into a tree.  Upon further investigation a male and female were located inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.  The male was pronounced dead on scene and the female was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  She is currently in critical condition. Cold Case: Randi Gorenberg Murder

  Randi Gorenberg did nothing wrong when she was murdered 12 years ago. It is believed she was carjacked in the mall’s parking lot and her body was dumped behind the South County Civic Center, next to Gov. Lawton Chiles Memorial Park, on Jog Road south of Linton Boulevard. Our Detectives are still on the hunt for the murderer and there is a $15,000 reward for anyone with answers that leads to an arrest.

Cold Case: Cynthia Moffett

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is still investigating a cold case regarding the murder of Cynthia Moffett in 2006. Cynthia Moffett lost her life 13 years ago to someone who stole rolls of coins. Please take a moment to view her story and help bring her killer to justice. Human Trafficking Suspects in Custody

  In August 2018, the Human Trafficking Task Force began an investigation into Human Trafficking activity which focused on two suspects, Keto Postemus and Aaron Martinez. On 10/11/18, HTTF executed a residential search warrant in the 2000 block of SW 12th Court, in the City of Delray Beach, to collect evidence in support of the human trafficking investigation.
