Suspect Wanted for Fraudulent Use of a Stolen Debit Card

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in the fraudulent use of a stolen Debit card.

The unidentified suspect used a deceptive “sleight of hand” technique to swap a victim’s debit card, handing back a different card without the victim’s knowledge. The suspect then used the stolen card to make a purchase at GameStop and withdraw cash from an ATM.

This incident occurred on September 8, 2025 at a Wells Fargo bank in Royal Palm Beach.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is urged to contact Detective James Coppola, CoppolaJ@pbso.org or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
