Meet Chief Risk Officer Hilda Araujo Gonzalez

Chief Risk Officer Hilda A. Gonzalez serves as Senior Executive Staff for the Department of Employee Services. She has direct oversight and is responsible for Personnel Services Bureau with three divisions: Human Resources; Benefits and Risk Management.  CRO Gonzalez is active in many professional and philanthropic organizations, including Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class XXXIX, American Heart Association’s – Palm Beach Board and CIGNA Employee Wellness Council to name a few.

CRO Hilda Gonzalez began her career at PBSO in 2002 in Risk Management. Throughout her tenure CRO Gonzalez has received numerous accolades for her support in the Wellness/Health of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office employees. Her notable contributions include the development and implementation of the Sheriff’s Office Wellness Health Care Facilities for the Sheriff’s Office employees to reduce health care cost for employees.

CRO Hilda Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science’s Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Phoenix, Certified Worker’s Compensation Professionals (CWCP) from Michigan State University and is an alumnus of Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Business, (HKS) Executives in State and Local Government program. CRO Gonzalez is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
