Suspicious Incident in Mallards Cove – Jupiter

Jupiter Farms Shooting

Last night at 9:32 pm in the 16300 block of 134th Terrace North, Jupiter Farms, our deputies found a male & female deceased from gunshot wounds. Our Violent Crimes Division is on it; no ongoing public threat is believed. More updates soon. Stay safe, Palm Beach County.

Shooting on Jasmine Drive

Update Detectives identified the suspect as Joshua McElhenney, DOB: 9/21/78. The suspect was located in Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade Homicide/SWAT assisted PBSO detectives with executing a search warrant in a hotel room where the suspect was arrested for First Degree Murder with a firearm, without incident. Case Update Detectives are looking for any witnesses as we investigate a Shooting Homicide that occurred in the vicinity of Foster's Shak, West Palm Beach. The incident took place on June 10th around 1:45 am. Arrest made on Homicide

Christopher Soto has been identified as the suspect in the homicide of the Hispanic woman who was found floating in a canal, in Delray Beach. Soto was located, arrested and booked into PBC Jail for First Degree Murder, Destruction of Evidence and Providing a False Statement. We are keeping the victim’s family in our thoughts and prayers.  

Sexual Battery Arrest

Our detectives worked tirelessly to identify and apprehend the suspect responsible for a heinous crime against an innocent victim. We arrested Darrell Moreland Jr. for Sexual Battery with a deadly weapon, Kidnapping and Robbery with a deadly weapon. We thank the community for their support and remind everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
