Frontier Elementary Students honor Deputies

Yesterday, on 9/11, the Safety Patrol students at Frontier Elementary School, in Loxahatchee honored their local PBSO and PBCFR on Patriot Day. The students collected different items  and put together a gift basket along with homemade cards thanking the deputies for their service. Members from PBSO  District 15 as well as their School Resource Deputy visited with the students and were presented with their gifts.      

From Inmates to Graduates

"Don't serve the time, let the time serve you." - Connor Vaughn. Six inmates graduated from the West Detention Center in Belle Glade. They received their GED diplomas to help them re-enter back into society when they are released from jail. The GED Program is a second chance to get a High School Diploma. The requirements are the same, they are responsible to complete courses like Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Math. Everybody deserves a second chance and these men...
