Join us in thanking Walmart and Lowe's leadership for their support. Before and after Hurricane Irma, the Lake Park Walmart and Lowe's stores managers provided us with perishable food and other supplies. These supplies allowed our deputies to feed hundreds of citizens. This week, deputies presented these stores’ managers with a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ to thank them for their partnership and commitment to our community.
Detectives Investigate a Generator-related Death in Loxahatchee

While working overtime during a state of emergency and making several arrests, one of our deputies deputized a 7-year old as a Junior Deputy. Cpl. Yerian came across a sweet 7-year old boy named Angel who asked if he could draw him a picture. Two Busted Committing a Burglary During a State of Emergency
Deputies responded to residential alarm, in progress, in the 1400 block of Woodcrest Rd. North, in West Palm Beach. Upon arrival, a witness advised deputies that two males were seen carrying property from the home to an abandoned home in the area. Body Found After Lowering Water in a Canal in Southern PBC to Prepare for Hurricane Irma
On Saturday, September 9, 2017, deputies were alerted to a partially submerged vehicle located in a canal in southern Palm Beach County. The vehicle became uncovered in the canal as a result of the city or county lowering the water levels in preparation for Hurricane Irma’s landfall. A deceased person was found inside the vehicle. On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 12:39 pm, deputies responded to a suspicious incident in the 13500 block of Caloosa Blvd. Upon arrival deputies encountered a female who was doing a welfare check on her parents saying that she found her parents on the floor covered in blood and not breathing. Detectives are seeking to identify this man who burglarized 3M Discount Express located in the 600 block of S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
