PBSO Increases Moffett Murder Reward to $25,000

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office announced an increase in the reward, that people are eligible for, for information in the Cynthia Moffett case. Moffett was murdered on March 23, 2006 at the Forest Oaks Golf Club in Wellington, Florida. The amount has increased to $25,000.

Shooting in Belle Glade

Just before 9:00 pm, deputies responded to a report of shooting in the 800 block of SW Ave D, Belle Glade. When deputies arrived they located a male shot in the lower torso. On January 22nd, a victim reported receiving a call from a suspect whom identified himself as Lt. Cross, with the Palm Beach County Sheriff Office. The suspect told the victim a warrant was issued for his arrest for failure to attend jury duty, but the matter could be resolved if a fine of $5,555.00 was paid.
