Did you know that this week is National Corrections Officers Week? This week we honor our men and women of corrections and today we gave them free massages sessions, goodie bags and breakfast to our Brave Men and Woman to show our appreciation. These amazing men and women are not just working to keep everyone safe, they are role models to these inmates in a critical time in their lives. PBSO brings home the win for this year’s Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo. The Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo is an annual police motorcycle skills competition that benefits children of fallen officers. More than 170 law enforcement motorcycle riders participated. Drug overdose deaths continue to increase year after year. We take this very personal. After an extensive investigation, deputies served a search warrant in West Palm Beach along with a second search warrant in Mangonia Park which led them to a big drug supplier, Timothy Maloney. We seized multiple kilos of Heroin/Fentanyl (2,570 Grams), Cocaine (3,167 Grams), Amphetamines, Xanax, two firearms, numerous items to manufacture narcotics and over $168,000 in US Currency. Maloney was charged with numerous Armed Trafficking Charges and...Operation Heavy Weights
With the increase of commercial traffic traveling through the county, we teamed up with other law enforcement agencies to create Operation Heavy Weights. This effort targets truck drivers breaking the law. Let's hope it makes a difference.
