PBSO Employee Goes Above and BEE-yond
When PBSO Employee Michele Denski heard our community had a bee problem, she threw on her bee keeper gear and took care of the problem on her own time, collected the bees and transported them to a safe location. She not only solved a problem for our community, but acted as a dedicated conservationist. BEE proud, we’re proud!?Swimming Safety Book Launch
Swimming is fun, but we have to do it safely. We recently had a children’s book launch of, "Gaspar's Big Day." An illustrated children's book that talks about safety tips when going out to swim. We'd like to thank Sheriff Ric Bradshaw's wife, Dorothy, for reading the new book to local school children.Broken Star Foundation Awards Scholarships
The PBSO Broken Star Foundation raises funds from donations from within the agency so that once a year, we can invest in our children's education. Today was the day we were able to give back by donating scholarships to 192 these kids. Help us congratulate all 192 students!
PBSO DNA Lab: 1995 Cold Case Solved
In 1995, the 14-year-old victim was at her school bus stop when the suspect offered her a ride to school. Instead, he drove elsewhere and sexually assaulted her. Almost 24-years later, the suspect is in custody with the help of the US Marshals Task Force. The suspect will face a Palm Beach County Judge in the morning. We can only hope the victim is one step closer to recovery.Do you drive a keyless car?
Sheriff Ric Bradshaw would like to remind drivers with a keyless car to be sure to turn off your car, especially when parked in your garage. Dozens of people have been poisoned by carbon monoxide after failing to turn off the ignition on their keyless cars.Multi-Agency Task Force Announcement
