Loving Donations from Lovely Ladies

Thank you to the sweet "Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans of USA" for kindly donating stuffed animals and pajamas to our District, local Fire Dept. & Representatives of Children’s Hospitals to distribute to kids in traumatic situations. We serve and protect with our hearts. Believe it or not, a small gesture of love can make a huge difference in these children’s lives. Thank you!  

Blue Line 5k Run

10-year old, Zechariah Cartledge, joined us during the Blue Line 5K to pay his respect to police officers who died in the line of duty. Each mile he runs is for a fallen deputy. Thank you for your commitment to Law Enforcement, Zechariah! The PBSO Team really appreciates it!

Baby June found one year ago

Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary since Baby June was found in the Boynton Beach Inlet by an off-duty firefighter. A reward up to $10,000 is offered to anyone who can help identify who is Baby June and where her parents are. She was suffocated, thrown into the ocean and after one year since we found her, we still need answers. Today we held a press conference with the detectives about updated information on the investigation of Baby June's death:

U.S. DOT awards PBSO Grant

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration, to address railway trespassing in the City of Lake Worth Beach. The proposed project will address railway trespassing in the City of Lake Worth Beach, home to three miles of FEC railway and three miles of SFRTA/Tri-Rail Commuter railway, through enforcement activities and community awareness. Thank you to The Al-Amin Center of Florida for inviting us to their Annual Inter-faith Dinner. Hundreds of members of the Mosque attended as well as invited guests from other religious communities. The Al-Amin center does this every year to promote mutual coexistence and harmony.

PBSO Deputies attend Career Day

PBSO West Detention Center deputies attended Career Day at Gove Elementary in Belle Glade. The Deputies engaged with students in various activities such as introducing themselves in Spanish and educated the students about the role of Sheriff's Office deputies with an interactive worksheet. Towards the end of the Career Day event, the deputies did a magnificent job by impressing on the students to hold themselves accountable in becoming productive citizens and participating in a pledge.
