Fatal Hit & Run Bicycle Crash

Did you happen to see a car crash into a bicyclist that occurred just before 11 pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021, in the 5100 block of Lake Worth Road? The driver fled and the bicyclist passed away. School is Open – Drive Carefully

As of January 1, 2021, the penalty for failure to stop for a school bus went up from a $100 fine to $200 and from $200 to $400 if one passes the side of the bus with the door. If a second offense is committed within 5 years, the person’s license can be suspended for up to a year.
