Slater is one of the strongest people we know. He was diagnosed a few months ago with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma and is being treated for 18 months at St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. More than 45 students were honored at the Graduation Achievement Celebration held at ChildNet in Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, joined by over 12 community sponsors, was able to provide each graduate with their own laptop and gift cards for school supplies. Deputy Helps Deliver Baby

Watch the Press Conference video On his way to work, Deputy Breslin had no idea he was going to have one of the most unforgettable shifts of his career. He helped a couple deliver a newborn who were on their way to the hospital. Thanks to the fast response of our deputy, the baby boy was born healthy on May 25th at 5:25 PM. PBSO Deputies Replaces 9 Year Old Stolen Bike

Here's a feel-good story for you. We responded to a citizen’s complaint about her nine year old son who was robbed of his bicycle by force. Her son had just received the new bicycle as a gift two days prior. D/S Gerbasi quickly established a perimeter and utilized all available resources in the course of his investigation to include multiple K-9 Units and the aviation unit. Two german shepherd’s busted out of their back yard and terrorized the streets near Pot O Gold Street, West Palm Beach, this morning. One of the shepherds bit a teenager as he was walking to school (he received minor injuries). PBSO deputies were called and responded to the area. Toy Drive BBQ to Collect Toys and Donations for the Fallen Officer’s Families

There are over 900 fallen officer’s children in the United States. For the second year in a row, we partnered up with the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association to host a Toy Drive BBQ to collect toys and donations for the fallen officer’s families. Over the Thanksgiving break, a fire destroyed the Quinones’ apartment and they lost it all: clothes, beds, shoes and even their bicycles that were on the porch. However, they didn’t lose hope. An elderly woman was stopped by deputies driving the wrong way down Haverhill Road this afternoon. The woman told deputies she knew she should not be driving but could not find anyone to take her to the store to buy a small turkey for Thanksgiving.
