Never Forget Organization Presents Award to PBSO

On 9/11/16, members of the “Never Forget” organization visited deputies at the Greenacres District to pay tribute to Law Enforcement in remembrance of 911. The family presented a framed award to PBSO in honor of their service to the community. The founder of this organization, Sam Veguilla, was celebrating his birthday yesterday. He said, there could be no greater birthday gift than to pay tribute to the heroes of our country that we will Never Forget.

Robbery in Lake Worth

Seeking to Identify Suspects wanted for burglary to a business in the city of Lake Worth. Three unknown suspects entered Benny’s on the Beach restaurant by climbing a closed gate.  Once inside they stole over $ 200 worth of wine. Stabbing in Greenacres

Media Advisory Just before 8 am, two patrons inside Cumberland Farms (Melaleuca Trail & Military Trail) got into an altercation resulting in one stabbing the other.  The stabbing individual appears to be the aggressor.  He has been take to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Honoring Memory Of Fallen Deputy Douglass

Today we honor the memory of Fallen Deputy George Douglass. End of Watch August 27, 1921. PBSO Deputy Sheriff George C. Douglass was appointed as Deputy Sheriff on July, 19 1921 (five weeks before his death) on the recommendation of the Ritta-Bare Beach Community Council. He was reluctant to take the position and did so only when requested by unanimous vote of the council. Thank you for giving your life to protect others. We will NEVER Forget.

PBSO Summit of Latin America

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office hosted the, "Summit of Latin America-Caribbean Consulates," at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida. The goal was to tackle issues affecting immigrant communities in Palm Beach County.

West Palm Beach Home Invasion Suspects Caught
