Deputies responded to a missing autistic and non-verbal six-year-old in the 3600 block of Timberline Drive, unincorporated West Palm Beach.  Missing person(s) protocol was immediately put into place; PBSO search and rescue K9, helicopter, reverse 911, deputies knocking on neighbor’s doors, etc.  Sadly, after an exhaustive search the child was discovered lifeless in a body of water behind the residence.  The child was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
