Update

On June 1, 2022, Jacqueline “Jacky” Reyes voluntarily collected her personal belongings and left a family member’s home in the Boynton Beach area in Palm Beach County, Florida.  Jacky had resided at her family member’s home since January of 2022.  At the time of the initial report, and based upon the initial investigation by deputies, Jacky left her family member’s home voluntarily following a family disagreement, and there was no indication of foul play.

On July 1, 2022, 30 days after leaving, Jacky’s mother, who resides in Arizona, reported Jacky missing after learning that she had left the family member’s residence in the Boynton Beach area.

Since that time, detectives have conducted an exhaustive investigation in an attempt to locate Jacky.  During this investigation, a lead was developed that proved very promising.  Based on this investigative lead, detectives believe they found Jacky and were able to track her to a business she frequented.  The business provided video surveillance footage from July 15, 2022, showing a female whom detectives strongly believe is Jacky.

Jacky is alone in the video, smiling and interacting with the store clerk.  Detectives spoke with the clerk, and he remembers seeing Jacky in the store on multiple occasions.  Each time Jacky was in the store, she was alone and did not seem to be under duress or danger.  More importantly, Jacky was using a cellphone and communicating freely.  This shows that she has the ability to communicate with her friends and family, but for whatever reason, she is choosing not to do so.

Because Jacky does not appear to be endangered, it has limited the investigative methods detectives can use to gather information on Jacky’s current situation.  Local law enforcement has been contacted in the area where the video was discovered, and they are aware of her being a missing person.  That law enforcement agency is actively assisting the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and is trying to contact Jacky to verify her condition and alert her to her family’s concerns.

Until physical contact by law enforcement is made with Jacky, the missing person’s investigation will remain open.  Jacky’s mother has been made aware of our findings.

Because Jacky is an adult and does not appear to be in danger, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office must respect her privacy, and we will not disclose her location.  However, anyone with information about Jacky is encouraged to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office or their local law enforcement agency so that law enforcement can speak with her and officially close this investigation.
