UPDATE * 2/28/23

After further investigation, detectives arrested Drake E. Hamilton, WM, 3/28/2003, Thomas B. Murvin, B/M, 11/01/2003 and Larry Dunnon, B/M, 1/03/1996 for 1^st Degree Murder, Delinquent in Possession of a Firearm and False Report of a Crime (Capital Felony).

All three suspects were booked into the PBC Jail on Monday, February 27, 2023, on NO BOND.   

Just after midnight, 12:45 am, deputies responded to a shooting in the 400 block of North Coconut Road, Pahokee. Upon arrival deputies located two adult males suffering from gunshot wound(s). Both males were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One male succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. The other male is expected to survive.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate further.  No suspect or motive is known at this time.
