Shooting in Boca Raton
PBSO is currently working a homicide at 9900 Sandlefoot Blvd., Boca Raton. This location is O'Connors bar. PBSO received a call of a shooting about 4:35am. We have one adult male victim deceased on scene from a gunshot wound. We are currently tracking the suspect /shooter. VCD Detectives are responding. Early information indicates that the victim and suspect knew each other. This is an open and ongoing investigation.
BUSTED – Wilton Uceta – believed to have committed in excess of 20 vehicle burglaries.
Due to multiple vehicle burglaries a surveillance operation was conducted at South Inlet Park, located 1100 South Ocean Blvd Boca Raton. Through investigative means suspect, Wilton Uceta, DOB: 9/30/87, was identified. Uceta was observed using an instrument to break the passenger’s side door lock. He removed the victim’s belongings then attempted to exit the park in his 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. A traffic stop was conducted and Ucetat taken into custody. Man Shoots Intruders, strikes neighbor by accident in Boca Raton.
Time: 8:27 pm Location: 9000 block of Majorca Place, Boca Raton Victim was returning home from work when he was approached by unknown suspects. In an attempt to protect himself he armed himself with a handgun. During the course of the attempted robbery the victim discharged his firearm. Gunfire accidently struck a nearby neighbor.
