Armed Robbery in Lake Worth Metro PCS
Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the Metro PCS Store located in the 300 block of S. Dixie Highway, Lake Worth. Upon arrival deputies learned that one armed masked black male entered the business and stole property. One of the clerks was shot and the other was injured. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. They are both listed in stable condition. Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 01:48 am, deputies responded to the 100 block of South B Street, Lake Worth, in reference to receiving multiple calls regarding an armed domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered victim/decedent in the bedroom. She had suffered significant blunt trauma to her head. PBCFR responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
