Shooting in Lake Worth
Detectives are Investigating a Shooting that occurred in the 2000 block of 10th Ave North, Lake Worth.
On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at about 9:50 pm, deputies responded to a 911 call in reference to a male having been shot in the parking lot of 2001 10th Avenue North, Lake Worth. Upon arrival, the victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to a local hospital and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. The investigation revealed that the victim was shot during a narcotics transaction.
