Shooting in Boca Raton

PBSO is currently working a homicide at 9900 Sandlefoot Blvd., Boca Raton. This location is O'Connors bar. PBSO received a call of a shooting about 4:35am. We have one adult male victim deceased on scene from a gunshot wound. We are currently tracking the suspect /shooter. VCD Detectives are responding. Early information indicates that the victim and suspect knew each other. This is an open and ongoing investigation.

Controlling Who Buys the Guns is Key

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw doesn’t think gun control is the problem. Man Shoots Intruders, strikes neighbor by accident in Boca Raton.

Time:                    8:27 pm  Location:             9000 block of Majorca Place, Boca Raton  Victim was returning home from work when he was approached by unknown suspects.  In an attempt to protect himself he armed himself with a handgun.  During the course of the attempted robbery the victim discharged his firearm.  Gunfire accidently struck a nearby neighbor.  The neighbor is being air lifted to a local hospital for treatment.  Condition is unknown.
