PBSO Arrests Suspect in the Murder of John Lee Roland

The investigation led detectives to the identity of 27-year old Curtis Jenkins, for the murder of John Lee Roland of West Palm Beach. Curtis Jenkins is currently in Virginia being held on Palm Beach County charges of First Degree Murder

John Roland, date of birth 1/20/68, walked nearby a Subway restaurant at about 10:30 am on Sunday morning to ask for help after being shot at the Merlin Park apartments in West Palm Beach. PBC Fire Rescue arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives learned that the victim died in surgery later that day.
