On Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 10:00 am, PBSO Special Investigations Division began an investigation into a missing adult female. During the course of the investigation, detectives suspected foul play and contacted the VCD Homicide Unit to assist further. Further investigation led detectives to Lake Worth Tri-Rail Station where a parked vehicle was located with a deceased female inside.  VCD Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.

The family of the deceased female has invoked Marsy’s Law.
