The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is fortunate to have three excellant training facilities at it’s disposal. These locations vary as to their purpose and location.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Headquarters
Numerous hotels, restaurants, and other amenities are located within close proximity to Headquarters, providing convenient accommodations for personnel attending training from outside the local area.
Headquarters offers dedicated facilities to support a variety of law enforcement training programs. These include a fully equipped fitness center featuring modern strength training and conditioning equipment, as well as a multi-purpose training room capable of supporting classroom instruction, physical training, defensive tactics, and other specialized training activities.
These resources provide a professional training environment designed to support the physical readiness, professional development, and continuing education of law enforcement personnel.
Driving Facilities
A fully enclosed asphalt pad allows for a multitude of training scenarios. The facility is used for Mobile Field Force, Helicopter Operations, and other courses, as well as a multitude of driving courses from Police Motorcycle to Commercial Drivers License training. The driving pad also features an automatically irrigated skid-pad.
