PBSO Arrest Man for 1989 Killing

We are proud to announced that we solved a 27-year-old murder case. Cold Case detectives emphasizes, "Not Giving Up!" Today, detectives obtained an indictment charging Clarence Butler, DOB: 3/22/1955, of Pahokee, with First Degree Murder of Simmie Harris. Simmie Harris was stabbed multiple times by Butler in his apartment between July 4, 1989 and July 5, 1989. Butler was located, arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail. He will attend first appearance Friday morning.

Deputies responded to an accidental injury that occurred at the Wellington City Hall building located in the 12300 block of Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington.
