Vanessa, Our Beloved 18 Year Old Holsteiner Mare Passes Away
The Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit is heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Vanessa, our beloved 18-year-old Holsteiner mare. Vanessa fell ill during her assignment at St. Mary’s Medical Center and sadly succumbed to her medical condition. Known for her athleticism and confidence, she was a cherished member of our team and will be deeply missed.
Death of a Female on Lyons Road – October 28, 2024
Deputies were dispatched to the 6100 block of Lyons Road, for a welfare check, after reports of an unresponsive female found outside of a vehicle on the southbound shoulder. Death of a Swimmer Found in Distress Near Boynton Inlet
At 10:32 AM on November 3, 2024, the Manalapan Police Department received a 911 call from a beachgoer reporting a swimmer in distress near the Boynton Inlet, approximately 1/4 mile north of a non-lifeguard protected area. Security officers and medics from a nearby estate rescued the male from the rough surf and rip currents, administering CPR until the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue arrived. Seeking the Public Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspects
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery at GameStop. On December 22, 2023, the suspects entered the store located in the 1200 block of Northlake Blvd, Lake Park, and inquired about purchasing a PlayStation 5 console. When an employee presented the console, one suspect snatched it from the employee's hands and both suspects immediately fled.
