We Arrest 3 Juveniles Linked to 46 Auto Thefts

This weekend, our task force, along with PBSO helicopter and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Burglary Apprehension Team, conducted a surveillance operation on suspects that have been linked to at least 46 High-end Auto Thefts out of East Boca Raton, Wellington, West Delray, and West Boca Raton. Yes, you read right, forty-six auto thefts.

Deputies Respond to Somerset Academy in regards to a Gun Found in a Student’s Backpack.

Deputies responded to Somerset Academy in regards to a gun found in a student’s backpack.
Detectives have interviewed all involved. The student is a boy, 6 years of age. He entered his classroom, tossed his backpack down and a loaded gun fell out. The teacher immediately rushed the students out of the classroom and notified school officials. The principal contacted PBSO to investigate further.
Detectives DO NOT believe any students were in danger.

Student Makes Threats to Shoot at William T. Dwyer High School

Crime Stoppers received a tip from a concerned citizen regarding a student posting videos of himself with a gun, pictures of himself with a gun in a school parking lot and threats to commit a shooting at William T. Dwyer High School, on social media. Further investigation identified the student. A search warrant was executed at the students home which led to the firearm in question. A baby stroller was hit by car, earlier this morning in a pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of Le Chalet Blvd and Military Trail.

PBSO Deputy Uses Non-lethal Tactic to Dissuade Dog, Even After Getting Bitten

Two german shepherd’s busted out of their back yard and terrorized the streets near Pot O Gold Street, West Palm Beach, this morning. One of the shepherds bit a teenager as he was walking to school (he received minor injuries). PBSO deputies were called and responded to the area. An elderly woman was stopped by deputies driving the wrong way down Haverhill Road this afternoon. The woman told deputies she knew she should not be driving but could not find anyone to take her to the store to buy a small turkey for Thanksgiving.

We are investigating a Stolen Vehicle, Deputy injured and Suspect on the Loose – occurred in Unincorporated Boynton Beach and ended in City of Boynton Beach.
Deputies observed a stolen vehicle, silver 4 door Mercedes, enter the Casa Brera Luxury Apartment Complex, which is a gated community. Deputies responded to a call of a deceased person found in the 1000 block of South H Street, in the City of Lake Worth. Upon arrival deputies found a male deceased from what appears to be a gunshot wound(s).
The victim has been identified as Lucio Velazquez-Morales, DOB: 5/10/84 of Lake Worth.
No suspect or motive known.
