PBSO School Crossing Guard Training

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office recently held training sessions for School Crossing Guards for county schools. There are still job positions open as crossing guards, with good pay and benefits. Schools open August 15th, so anyone interested should contact PBSO immediately.

To Serve and Protect Literacy

Today, PBSO held a party for the conclusion of the “To Serve and Protect Literacy” program at North Grade Elementary School. For the last two years, the “To Serve and Protect Literacy” program has worked with the North Grade Elementary School, pairing students with officers as reading buddies. Over a six week period, the officers come in and read with their buddies--making time in their demanding schedules to help shape these young learners educational experiences.
